Happy Friday, everyone! We’re back with a Flavor Friday post - this time tackling the all important “what’s for breakfast” question. We are strict believers in three meals a day, and that includes a pretty hearty and healthy breakfast to start our day (no SBux or donuts here!)
However, I’m not a morning person - so in our house, that means being able to prep meals that Brandon can quickly make for us in the morning in 15min or less. That’s where this toast recipe comes in! It is the easiest recipe, but skimps nothing on flavor so that we can stay full until lunch.
Best Breakfast Toast - Whisk together 3-4 eggs with a hearty spoonful of creme fraiche, salt, and pepper. Scramble them over low heat on the stove, until soft curdles form. Meanwhile, toast up a slice of sourdough bread. After it has been toasted, spread some salted butter on the toast (we love the Kerrygold brand!). Once the eggs are cooked, place a spoonful over the buttered toast and top with chopped chives. How easy is that?!
