Hi lovelies! We hope you had a great weekend filled with laughter and love ♡ This past weekend was our anniversary and we celebrated with a two-part (for our two year) date night. I'll share the first part of our evening on a different blog post (worth the wait, we promise!) but for the second part, we watched a show at Comedy Works South (the Landmark). Chad Daniels was the comedian that night and he was HILARIOUS! We were definitely laughing the whole time and our stomachs hurt!
Now, for the nitty gritty. If you plan on a date night at Comedy Works, keep in mind that it is a 2-purchase minimum (food and/or drink) so maybe one of you orders desserts and the other orders drinks (like we did!). We didn't know what to expect going in (this was our first time) & the scene is best described as organized chaos! We arrived about 30 minutes before show time and got our tickets at the Box Office (right inside the front doors). They just ask for the name the reservation is under, so no need to bring print-outs of your confirmation. We then didn't know what to do because the show before us was just getting out and the lobby area was pretty crowded. The attendants suggested going to the bar for drinks (this does not count towards your 2-drink minimum) but we advise against this unless you ate dinner at Comedy Works. Basically, if you eat dinner there, you are seated first and don't have to wait in really confusing long lines. If you choose not to eat, just get there 30min before we did, and start the line across from the Box Office right before the hallway to turn to the bathroom. They start roping the area off here so trust us, you'll be first to enter once all of the VIP's have been seated! Keep your IDs out (they check) as well as your phone because they put it in this protective baggie that disables service (we suggest leaving phones in your car). Once you are seated, the waitress comes by to get your orders and the show begins!
All in all, we had so much fun and definitely worked our food off with all the laughter! ♡
