Hi lovelies! We hope your Saturday is marvelous ♡ If you remember, we talked about our our anniversary date earlier this week. We promised you then that we would share the first part of our date and here it is!
You guys, I still get butterflies in my stomach thinking about it because Brandon is sooo romantic and bought me flowers and asked me to be his date all over again! How sweet right?! I wore this super flirty outfit for our dinner at Beatrice & Woodsley, a gorgeous restaurant on Broadway. The decor is unlike anything I've seen - it's best described as a magical tree house where they serve you neauvo-American food. Because Brandon called ahead for reservations and told them it was our anniversary, we found a handwritten "Happy Anniversary" card waiting for us at the table from the staff. So sweet!!! I felt like I fit right in with this leopard print skirt (rawr!) made super chic with the ruffle detail on the side. I paired it with some classic pumps (wedge heel because let's face it, Denver isn't a high heel town) and an off the shoulder black bodysuit. I think this outfit would go really well with a black tank or cami that you probably have in your closet to help beat the hot weather we've had recently. I've also linked a scalloped cami for a new/not-so-boring take on this outfit. And the best part?? Everything is ON MAJOR SALE at Nasty Gal (use code GIMME50) so head over before the sales are over!!!
While at dinner, we thought we it would be fun to brainstorm our top five picks for a glam date night here in town! You guys, it was really hard to narrow down our favorites!! But if we had to choose, we would say (in no particular order):
Ya Ya's European Bistro (ask for a patio table overlooking the fountain!)
Nocturne Jazz & Supper Club (ask for a balcony table which overlooks the stage)
BONUS: el Five (ask for a balcony table which overlooks the downtown skyline)
What are your favorites in town? We are also thinking of doing a top five casual date night post - would you all be interested in that?
