We woke up to another | | m a g n i f i c e n t | | fall day here in Colorado. Fall is that time where you have a rare two (maybe three weeks) to enjoy the sunshine, crisp weather, and of course the golden and red hues of the trees changing. I taught my hot yoga class bright and early at 8am, but was already plotting what to do for the rest of the day before class was over. We had heard about the grand opening of Mini Moo's Tea Shop through my friend Monique; I for one LOVE boba tea and was over-joyed to go try it out. There was this one boba shop when I still lived in Salt Lake City that I would go to every single week to get either their rose tea boba or caramel lavender boba and it was out | of | this | world delicious <3 When I moved back to Colorado, I was saddened that I couldn't find a boba tea store anywhere near where I lived...so I really was hoping Mini's could deliver.
B and I went around opening time and Mini's had already amassed a small crowd. There were SO many options on the menu that it literally took us five minutes to figure out what we wanted (thank goodness for patient cashiers & a decisive fiancé!) We ended up ordering the regular mango snow boba (snow boba = creamy blended yumminess; slushy boba = iced tea consistency). UM CAN I SAY OMG THIS IS SO GOOD?! It was sweet, yet not sickeningly so, and had the perfect amount of mango flavor. This was also the first shop that (to me) felt like had the right ratio of tea::boba pearls. The price point was quite reasonable and the ambiance was light and airy. We were served our boba within 5 minutes, despite a handful of other orders, and went outside to enjoy the boba in their sunny patio. In addition to the games out there, Mini Moo's had asked the Colorado Asian Cultural Heritage Center to perform for the grand opening, so we had front row seats to a wonderful performance as we sipped our boba. We had such a sweet experience together at Mini's, enjoying the sunshine and happiness of a Saturday morning together (complete with mango boba) <3
Would we go here again? Y E S absolutely. I liked the inclusion of a drive through so that I can stop by on my way to work in the morning. I hope Mini's offers a loyalty rewards program, because I can see myself coming back an unhealthy number of times :) :) :)
